There's even a day-night cycle, new terrain and hazards, along with a bunch of new story interactions depending on the playable character that has been selected. River City Girls 2 is looking to improve on the first game in quite a few ways, such as a bunch of new moves and weapons, along with being able to recruit enemies to help and fight. After the events of the first River City Girls, these six are thrown into a new adventure, where they must face an old foe that has resurfaced. This new entry in the Kunio-kun franchise follows the adventures of previous playable characters, Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, and Riki, along with two new playable characters, Marian and Provie. This game is slated as a direct sequel to the first River City Girls game that was released in 2019.
